Stegosaurus

… -through metaphor

Stegosaurus Installation

-Taking the mirror as an object, broken from its very beginning and reflecting the fragmentation of the landscape, we invented a tool-accessory called Stegosaurus for our wanderings in the forbidden territories. A space telescope that focuses and underlines certain views and details that aids to discover and mirror the world, by chance with us in it. To be able to see the Stegosaurus, one needs a pile of earth, of sand or rubble. The mirrors are placed on its back as its bony plates, reflecting. Sometimes the mirror-plates mime the surroundings, sometimes the sky, or pieces of the landscape. It lays there calm, representing prehistory, or an animistic objet-trouvè.
